Vapiano in Berlin

We ordered two pizzas. One with salami and one with ham.They made only one (the one with the salami).We asked for the other pizza, first they said that we haven't ordered two pizzas, then they made a pizza but instead ham they put tomato and arugula on it. All two pizzas were dry.

Vapiano is a Italian food restaurant. You will find pizza, pasta and obviously a good wine. It is a big place and looks a bit like a fast-food restaurant, because you should place your order directly with the person who will prepare your food. If you are looking for a cheap place with good food in Berlin, Vapiano is one of your best bets!

Waited for 15 minutes at the table without anyone taking my order. Abysmal service

Food was great. Staff really friendly and a nice environment.

The service was absolutely horrible. The waiter was SMOKING while serving us. Not only it was very disrespectful but also how dares he come to a table without any face mask during a pandemic... I had to ask extra for both drink menu and olive oil, although it should be given and the waiter acted like he was doing me a big favor rolling his eyes. Vegan pizza wasn’t tasty. I do not recommend the place.

Slow, for cappuccino and draft beer after 10min nobody knows anything..sorry, but for Potsdamer platz with no people infront this should be done in 10min tops..what to excpect for food order? An hour? Ciao ciao..

Best Italian restaurant ever.

Worst salad I ever had, only leaves (from the supermarket bags) and 2 slices of mushrooms for almost €8 The supervisor (blond lady) try to make it better but she only add some Parmesan cheese. I appreciate it though. Before leaving and after paying, I kindly asked the Barman to fill my bottle with tap water, while he was doing it the supervisor took the bottle from his hands and told me they will not give me tap water. The waiters and chefs were great, can’t complain.

Their food is ok when there's nothing else around and hunger is creeping. Their ethics are a Shame, firing people in this global crisis. From now on I'm never stepping in their places again. Boycott.

Grab your favourite Italian food here. Great vibe from the potsdmer platz. Affordable for students as well. Good quality food.

If you have any allergies you need to watch them very very very (!!!) closely, because they tend to not pay attention to what you order. I ordered the vegan funghi pasta twice. The first time the chef put cheese on top of it and the second time the cream must have not be the vegan one. I am lactose intolerant and am now sitting in my office with stomach cramps. Thanks a bunch vapiano!

Outraged. Charging almost 12 euros for a salad with literally 1 piece of beef and 2 tiny pieces of courgette. I come here often and this is just offensive. Maybe you are trying to save money on portion size reduction but this is just not ok.

Vapiano is as expected. Long queues. Smart cooks. Fresh ingredients and known taste. Can't ask for more. However food portion for gnocchi was slightly small in my opinion. My friends ordered different pastas and their food portions were more generous. That said, nothing else can take away any credit from Vapiano. A must visit place if u r craving for simple and great tasting pasta/pizza.

Good Italian food. They cook in front of you. The pizza is ok. Pasta is good. It's really fast. Great place if you don't have so much time. Not ideal for large groups because they can't cook at the same time for many people.

Excellent, if you want to have a quick lunch at potsdamer platz. Pasta, pizza, lasagna is what you should go here for.

Quick and easy.. Good food too!!

Wow! very good italian food. It was a nice discover because is true that german food is good but it is not enought for tourism (too much food and dinners outside and there are not too much typical dishes) so it was a good choice. I ate alfredo's tagliatelle and they were very good, as in Italy. The system to order is not good, is slow and no sense to "pay" with a card and before going out the restaurant pay with the real card...

Pasta not so good.... too much oil inside....

So tasty food that we understand why the restaurant is so busy especially during rush hours. Almost no chance to find a table however we were lucky enough to enjoy this restautant.

Very very slow service. Even they have an extra counter and personell for cooking, they decide to keep that counter close.

Interesting idea of how this place works. Decent tastes, prices are ok. There should be more people preparing pizzas cause the line and the waiting are a bit much. Also, staff should be allowed to allocate customers depending on company size. 2 people hogging a table of 6 is rather usual.

Great place for a quick, tasty meal. A bit loud (visited in a Friday evening). Fair price. Self-service style.

Ok not bad but not really great authentic Italian food but it's close Checkpoint Charlie. What do we expect, a fantastic italian rest in heart of Berlin. But a Good rest point for visitors.

Self service Italian reasonably priced restaurant. Quite busy but we got our food within 15 mins. Hot and tasty pizzas. Queue up by the food station you want. Pay when you order with a card you are given when you come in. Staff very helpful and friendly.
